JW MARRIOTT PHOENIX DESERT RIDGE RESORT & SPA

Described as a water wonderland, JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa features five pools plus two hot tubs.  There’s also an 89-foot waterslide and a kids splash pad. And speaking of kids, on Sunday’s, children can learn how to decorate cakes and cookies. Summer rates start at $159 per night.   

If you’d like to upgrade, for $179 per night, you can enjoy Come to Life Spa Package and Come to Life Golf Package.

THE SAGUARO

What’s unique about The Saguaro hotel is that you actually don’t have to spend the night in order to take advantage of their pools and spa.  You can join the hotel’s Swim & Spa Membership Club and enjoy the amenities year long plus receive discounts on spa services and dining.  If you’d like to spend a night or two, rates begin at $79 per night and include 20% off food and beverage through September 5th. 

The Saguaro has a couple of pools for you to enjoy.  The Calma pool is more relaxed and has a waterfall.  The Picante pool has a little more action with a Top 40 radio broadcast on Saturday afternoon.

THE CAMBY HOTEL

A newer property, located at the Arizona Biltmore, The Camby Hotel has the reputation as a foodie staycation, offering the Uptown Dine Around Escape package that includes dinner at two select restaurants in the Biltmore area.  Rates start at $229 per night or do The Double Take Escape for $299 for two nights.  If you don’t want the foodie package, rates start at $159 per night.  

At The Camby Hotel’s 24-hour rooftop pool, you can enjoy a game of poolside pingpong, food from a rooftop menu, and entertainment.  You can also enjoy a Camby Cabana rental for $59 that includes two lounge chairs, skewers of fresh fruit, two cocktails, and more.  For $30, you can enjoy a Girls Cabana with magazines and lunch for two.  You can even add a spa treatment package.
