Such a busy time of year. On top of a busy holiday season, many of you are expecting visitors who’ll be spending the night at your Terravita Scottsdale home. Whether it’s family or friends, you’ll want them to feel welcome and comfortable. Here are a few things you can do to make your guests feel at home.

Water/Food

Leaving a water pitcher and a glass or bottled water in the guest room of your Terravita Scottsdale home is a nice touch so guests don’t have to wander into the kitchen for a drink of water in the middle of the night. Also leave a few snacks like granola bars, fruit, crackers or even candy. Some guests might not feel comfortable raiding your refrigerator or pantry.

Nightlight

Walking down a dark hallway or trying to feel around a dark bedroom is tough when you’re in unfamiliar surroundings. So, a nightlight will help prevent guests from bumping into furniture or walls.

Luggage rack

Since your visitors will be living out of a suitcase, providing a luggage rack is a nice touch. It also creates space underneath for other belongings.

Extra blanket

Even in Arizona, it can get chilly in your Terravita Scottsdale home. So an extra blanket or two will help in keeping guests warm. Leave it folded across the bottom of the bed.

Eye mask

It might seem like an unusual thing to get for guests, but an eye mask might help them sleep better since they’re in an unfamiliar surrounding. Your guest bedroom might be lighter than what your guests are used to. Buy a nice one and offer for the guest to take it home with them.

Wi-Fi and other passwords

Print out a list of passwords for your guests to use in your Terravita Scottsdale home. They’ll probably want to upload photos of their trip or check their email and Facebook.

Charger

Provide a charging station in the guest room so visitors can plug in their cell phones, tablets, and laptops. You should be able to find inexpensive chargers that allow several devices to be plugged in at the same time.

Toiletries

It’s easy to forget necessities like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. so it would be nice to have a few sample-size toiletries on the dresser or in the bathroom. Doing this goes a long way in showing your guests you want them to feel at home in your Terravita Scottsdale home.

A few simple things can go a long way in making your guests feel comfortable at your home over the holidays.
